Every collection is rooted in the culture and identity of a real place. Each jersey, shirt, hoodie, short, and collectible carries the colors, attitude, history, and mythology of its court. Where It Started
Long before Playground Legends™ became a brand, founder David Siqueiros had a playground nickname of his own: The Garbage Man.
He was not the flashiest player on the court. He chased loose balls, fought for rebounds, did the dirty work, and did whatever was necessary to help his team win.
Years later, after playing basketball in more than thirty-six countries, he began noticing something. Everywhere he went, the details changed, but the culture felt familiar. Different cities. Different languages. Different courts. Same passion.
Every playground had players everyone knew, stories everyone remembered, rivalries that lasted for years, and characters who became local mythology without ever appearing on television or signing a professional contract.
Every city had its legends. Playground Legends™ grew from the belief that those people, places, and stories deserve to be celebrated.

Our mission is to preserve and expand the culture of playground basketball while helping create its next generation of legends.
